In support of the Big Draw campaign, encouraging people of all ages to get drawing, Berol donated products to two deserving projects

Children at Mellor Primary School, Leicester, decided to hold a "Big Draw - Big Birds" event at their local Cross Corners Community Arts Centre. The children were introduced to a variety of birds by a tutor and encouraged to draw pictures of their experience using imaginative colour. Amongst the products we donated were an assortment of Oil Pastels, which enabled the children to create bright and bold images.

Meanwhile, GCSE Art students at Blanche Neville School for the Deaf, North London, led an event entitled "A day in the life of..." at their school premises. Exploring the aesthetics of their buildingÕs fantastic architecture, the pupils created a giant Hockney style montage. They also created an artistic record of their futuristic views of the school.

The Big Draw will be in its eleventh year this year and more fun activities are planned around the country for 2010. To find out more about The Big Draw and how your school can participate, visit the campaign website at CampaignForDrawing.org
