Pointillist Pictures
Use Berol Ready Mixed paint to create pictures in the style of an Impressionist artist like Seurat. Seurat used a technique called Pointillism to create pictures using millions of tiny dots placed closely together.
First draw a picture lightly with pencil. Use a cotton bud dipped into paint to create your dots of colour and fill in each area leaving a tiny gap between the dots. If you put dots of two different colours close together they look like they have mixed to create a third colour. This is called optical colour mixing - the colours are really separate but they appear to be mixed together.
